This hoppin’ neighborhood is one of Denver’s oldest. Eighty percent of Baker was developed before 1900. You will find a little bit of everything here from Victorians to Bungalows to Modern day condos with an average home price of $585,000.

There are multiple homes in this neighborhood built by the famous architect, William Lang (mostly 19th century brick homes). The community got its name from James Hutchins Baker, who was a University of Colorado president.

Baker is bordered to the north by W. 6th Avenue, to east by Broadway, south by W. Mississippi and west by South Platte River. Broadway is its main street where you can find shopping, dining, entertainment and access to mass transit. The Mayan Theatre is its historical trademark and be sure to stop by the Blue Bonnet for some amazing Mexican food!
