“LoHi” or Lower Highlands is another one of Denver’s fastest growing neighborhoods. LoHi has really grown since the opening of the Highland Pedestrian Bridge which connects this area to Commons Park and the 16th Street Mall. Many of the older homes are being renovated into new modern style houses and there has been a large number of lofts, condominiums and townhouses built in this area but it is still reasonably affordable for the young professional. With many local shops and restaurants nearby this neighborhood is easily walkable. As LoHi sits up on a hill west of I-25 between Speer and 20th St, it makes for spectacular views of the city. If you are in the area for lunch try Masterpiece Deli and Little Man Ice Cream for dessert!
