Spring 2018 Newsletter

Dear Brixton Friends,

The Morrison family had quite the start to 2018 and hope you and yours are doing well this spring. We kicked off the New Year with a trip down south to Tulum Mexico. It was an easy and fun trip for the four of us, the girls loved speaking Spanish, the food was amazing, and the warm weather helped us heat up our bones from a busy winter.

After the beach trip we were right back at work in Golden finishing the homes at Bachman Farm. There are 16 homes and we have all the homes under contract closing out the entire project this spring and summer, and we also purchased another property in Golden off  2nd and Arapahoe that will be developed into four homes early next year. TK Morrison had a record start to 2018 closing out 12 homes in Sunnyside while also building new homes for a dozen new homeowners with land to build on throughout Denver. The market still has very low inventory, so their focus is to keep helping people get into great quality homes at a good value.

We have been in our home in Golden for over a year now and are absolutely loving it! Our reputation for moving is on hold for the next 12 years while the girls finish their school years in Golden. Anytime you are in the area, we welcome a visit! One person who is not often highlighted in  this newsletter is Brixton’s owner, Jenn Morrison. She currently sits on a list of top 100 realtors in Colorado, which puts her in elite territory with over 26,000 real estate brokers competing for the spot.

Jenn has become such a successful broker by being honest, competent, and a great negotiator for her clients. If you’ve ever worked with her, you know how dearly she cherishes the relationships she builds, and how important it is for her to produce satisfaction.

I have certainly enjoyed building a business with my wife and best friend, but it can create challenges when we take into consideration building a balance between work and family.

At one point this year, Jenn managed over 30 listings and still made time to regularly attend our girls’ classrooms. She did all this while attending Regis University for a grauduate class in Counseling and Red Rocks Community College for a water color painting class!

Her ability to balance work and family as well as pursue her own interests is impressive and contagious if you spend time with her. I can’t think of a better broker to help me with my transactions and if you feel the same way, please tell your friends about her!

Brixton is moving! We are in the process of building a new office and model home in Jefferson Park. We will be in the center of all the shops and restaurants off 24th and Eliot. There will be a show kitchen and living room with office space for both Brixton and TK Morrison. Watch for our grand opening party invitation!

The TK Morrison team has been busy this past year with many multi-family projects.  After wrapping up 12 units in Sloans Lake, Sunnyside12, and 16 homes at Bachman, they will be moving onto another project near downtown Golden.  Completion is set for spring 2019.  Contact Jenn at 303-949-7959 to learn more!
