The neighborhood of Sunnyside is just north of the Highlands. Sunnyside’s landscape is how it got its name from the farmers in the mid-1800’s. Bounded by I-70 to the north, Federal Blvd to the west, W. 38th Avenue to the south and Inca to the east, this area is only 2 square miles.

Sunnyside is full of historic homes on “front porch” street designs with larger than usual lots. Most of these brick ranches and bungalows were built before 1930. The average price of a home is around $362,000.

If you are driving through Sunnyside try Ernie’s Bar and Pizza or Buchi Cafe Cubano for some yummy eats.
